Nukes in the news. Not this time in Japan, but right here in the U.S. Yes, the unexpected has happened, fire and flooding, causing a possible enviormental issues. It seems that nukes, as with everything else creates a byproduct commonly known as waste. The problem with nuclear waste is it’s long shelf life. What I mean by that is if not properly contained nuclear waste emits radiation for thousands of years. This is NO DOUBT harmful to human health. So, why am I saying this? We are smart enough to contain this waste properly? I venture to say in a perfect world it’s all good. WHAT ABOUT IN CASE OF FIRE OR FLOODS?
